Terms of use

1. Who's who

APPxygen is a one-person studio run by Seree Woradechjamroen in Thailand. In these terms, "APPxygen", "I" and "me" mean that studio and that person. "You" means anyone who uses the apps or this website.

These terms cover the Foldman app, the AP-7 app once it is released, and this website. By installing or using them, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.

2. The apps are free

Foldman is free to download and use. AP-7 is still in development and not released yet; when it is, these terms apply to it unless it comes with terms of its own.

I may update, change or stop offering an app or this website at any time. Features can change between versions.

3. Your content stays yours

your tapes, your music, your voice. not mine.

Your music, your tape labels, your recordings and your transcripts belong to you, or to whoever holds the rights in them. The apps work with them on your phone. APPxygen claims no rights in your content and does not receive it.

You are responsible for having the right to play, record and share what you do. Recording other people can require their consent; please follow the law where you record.

4. Services you connect in AP-7

AP-7 can send a tape to a transcription service you choose (Google Gemini, ElevenLabs, OpenAI, or your own server) and send a transcript to an AI server you set up. These connections are off until you turn them on, and they use your own account and your own API key.

• Each service has its own terms, privacy policy and prices. They apply to your use of that service, and any charges are yours.
• You are responsible for keeping your API keys safe and for what is done with them.
• APPxygen does not run or control these services and is not responsible for their availability, their results, or what they do with the data you send them.
• Transcripts and AI-written text can be wrong. Check them before you rely on them.

5. Downloading the APK

Foldman is offered as an APK file you install yourself (Google Play is coming). Download it only from the links on this website. A copy from anywhere else may have been changed, and I can't stand behind it.

The Foldman page lists the APK's SHA-256 fingerprint, so you can check that your copy is the real one. Installing an APK means allowing installs from your browser or file manager; that is your choice, and you can turn it off again afterwards.

6. Licences

The apps and this website, including their design, artwork, sounds and code, are made by APPxygen. You may install and use the apps for your own use. Please don't sell them, pass them off as your own, or share modified copies.

Some parts, such as fonts, are made by others and used under their own licences. Those licences are listed in each app, and they apply to those parts.

7. No warranty

made with care, by one person. back up the tapes you love.

The apps and this website are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, APPxygen gives no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

I don't promise that the apps will be free of errors, will work on every phone, or will never lose data. Keep your own copies of recordings and files that matter to you.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, APPxygen and Seree Woradechjamroen are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, recordings, profits or business, or for charges from third-party services, that come from using or being unable to use the apps or this website.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability, or any right you have, that cannot be limited or excluded under the law that applies to you, including consumer protection law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, and the courts of Thailand have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. This does not take away any mandatory rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.

10. Changes

If these terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If you keep using the apps or this website after that date, the new terms apply.
